bobhenry - That's actually not a bad idea. I'd probably try it if I didn't have to tape off all of those squares.
larryl - Hello. The trim really helped with the looks in my opinion. I'm very happy with it, and this is a project that anyone can do.
HMK - There are still a lot of little things to do on the camper, but it has actually turned out better than I thought I could do. It will continue to change as I figure what works and what doesn't, but after 6 months and a lot of camping, I think I have it just about dialed in.
Miriam C. - I like how the aluminum cleaned up the edges too. The table already has an aluminum edge, it's just not very visible in that photo. As for your suggestion about the black table leg, I like that idea! I just painted my thermoelectric cooler black, so I'll go paint that table leg black too.
NoNeck - That makes me feel great that I've given you some ideas on your own camper. I don't mind you using any of my ideas - I'm glad that so many have taken interest in my little camper. As for DFW, I go up that way every once in awhile. My dad is Arlington and I'm planning a visit to see him soon. I'll try to post in my build pages when I'm leaving and where I'm going. Sometimes I forget to remind people who have asked to see it.
