Thought I'd send along a couple of pix on the project now officially renamed: "The Lake Hallie Comet"

Hi Miriam,
Thanks!! Yes, I did paint the vent cover. I opted not to use a power roof vent and got one with a metal top. Powered roof vents are noisy and don't really offer a "cooling effect" over your body when it's hot outside. I am using a small 12 volt car fan to blow air across my fat little body so I don't sweat to death. The vent cover as well as the fenders have 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of color and 4 coats of clear. The frame is red and I like the color mix of aluminum and red so I carried the theme throughout.

Toypusher, Does it sorta look like yours? I didn't follow anybody's plans and kinda went on my own with the profile design and placement of the galley and cabinets. This like so many, is actually overbuilt but still not overweight.
Thanks again, I appreciate the comments.

Looking good! You'll be almost done in no time and ready to camp. :applause:
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Nice build you have going there. Doesn't look like it will be long before you are out camping in her.

Thanks folks, I did my best and good comments help a bunch.
MJ - yep, you're right - it ain't too warm here only 55 degrees today. However, when the humiditty gets to 99%, I'll be bailing out, sitting in an airconditioned travel trailer and drinking large quantities of brown intoxicating beverages. Maybe I could make up some bread dough and throw it in the TD during the summer to let it rise - yahoo bread in 20 minutes.......
