 Well, the aluminum finally came from SAF. I had to pick it up from the Roadway dock 30 miles away at 6:00 AM. I rented a 6 x 12 UHaul that turned out to be too small. The two 4 x 10s and two 5 x 10s were packed very well by SAF, but the whole package was enormous, weighing about 200 lbs. Me and a buddy could barely budge it. At least it won't be banged up I hope. The crate had sat in the rain and was totally water logged. We'll open her up this weekend. Also, mailed off the check to Grant for the winders, hinge and drip rail. I've got some body work to do before I can even think about the aluminum, but its there when I need it.

My aluminum was available locally. I went and picked it up today and you're right. It's amazingly heavier than I thought it would be. Also, I noticed that edges are darn sharp! I almost cut my hand moving it around in my pick up truck.
I am NOT a complete idiot! Some of the pieces are missing.
