Woody was right...!!!!

This past Sunday I sat out to bend a piece of 1/4 luan around the front curve of the Escape Pod.
Three ratchet straps, a bit of beer, a little steam from a Conair clothing steamer, a bit more beer, some help from my Lady Lanza, a bit more beer and.......no problem. I was all prepared to scrap the first piece of ply and start all over but no need it worked....!!!!!!! I was not prepared for such result so I did not apply glue, it may sit like it is for over a week before I release the straps and secure it for real but I think it is going to work. No curfing, no cursing, no spliting.

Thanks Woody...!!!!!!

Larwyn,

I am glad it worked for you, like it did for me. With a little patience, some form a wet heat, straps and plenty of ice cold beer. You would think it would involve a lot more to it than it did. I was somewhat stunned with my result when I tried it also. It worked on the second teardrop build also when I wrapped the double 20" radius on the front and the rear hatch. I thought it was a decent tip to pass on.
