Help with ideas. I want a T@B look for my teardrop.

I have a traditional teardrop built with wood and covered with sheetmetal. I would like to mimic /create the border perimeter that is so prominent in a T@B rv. Please see attached image.

Can anyone come with an idea how to make the borders? Perhaps bending pvc pipe?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

It will be a little expensive but I'd consider using some 1 x 8 PVC boards for the trim. Cut the pieces to fit the width and profile and adhere them together with epoxy. Then affix (glue and screw) to the teardrop.

Perfect place to use the Foamie method!

Check out atahoekid's build thread. He made his wide boarder out of covered foam board. Check his avatar.

Foam would work but unless it was glassed or epoxied I would think it would be too unstable for corner molding. My tear would require something stronger and more punch resistant than foam trim. ( my current tear is cedar framed with foam covered by aluminum)
