I almost bought an early Effie mid last year but somebody offered a cash deal there and then, missed out :( Still looking, maybe one day.
Cheers

I would love to have a UTE from down under like this one:

Now that is unique - By the way those are 42 - 46 Chevrolet headlights too. And at least the front fenders if not the back ones as well but not quite sure.
Here is a small pic of ours - If you look at the headlights and fenders..

I don't know any more than you do? I got the pix from this link: http://www.hotrodhotline.com/feature/20 ... /index.php

I did a search for "UTE hotrods" and came up with that one. I was just guessing it was a UTE from your part of the world? I know they built some pretty wild Holdens and others after the war... Often using earlier years stamping dies from US cars. There are some really strange looking cars down under unlike anything we ever saw in the US. Now that I look closer at that site... It is from a Long Beach, CA swap meet in '04. So It must have been a custom ride? Maybe they chopped a Panel truck and put an old coupe rear window in it? Sure is different! :)

Whew! That guy has to have a bundle tied up in that one. :o
Yep... I think he has to to hard-core and rich!

So Paul, you like our SoCal UTE's? Here's two more.

I can't find the '53 Ford 5 window that looks stock outside but under the skin is something else.
