Great fun, used to build and fly them at a park that had a post about 1/2 way between the pilot and the airplane. We always had to climb higher than the post. One guy didn't........his control lines caught the top of the post, the plane whipped around, right at him and almost knocked his head off as it went by.
One guy even flew a toilet seat and 3 openended coffee cans. My plane flew just as well with one wing as it did with two. It all ended when my young son fueled it up when I wasn't home, hooked up the battery and spun the prop. It took off, right up his hand and arm. That time he took stiches in the hospital. No more control line flying after that.
