AMEN. To that.

I have not changed. My wife is the one that changed. Basically, I'm the same lovable old SOB, I was 30 years ago. That may be the problem..lol...but, I am not going to reinvent myself when I'm I happy with who I am. I have had enough counseling to do me for the rest of my life.

Let me be the first to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy New year, and all that sh**.

Use that on your Christmas cards this year.

Sorry to hear the news, Steve. Keep posting here so we can keep up with you and you can vent now and then.

I like the Christmas card that says....

Money's short, times are hard,
so here's your f-ing Christmas card!

A little sacrilegious, but I didn't make it up.

I was 32 years old, so that was 32 years ago. I was dating a girl named Debbie. She was a school teacher, a really nice young lady. We had a lot of good times together. She loved to camp, actually she is the one that turned me on to camping.

The problem was she fell in love with me and I was not ready to be tied down, so we had a few verbal disagreements and I started seeing other gals. That is when I met my current wife.

Well, short story, I broke Debbie's heart and I have felt bad about this for 32 years. She was the one I should have married. We loved the same things. She was my soul mate, but I had my head up my ass. Now, I'm being paid back.

Hi Steve,

You never know. Two years ago I married for the second time- to my very first boyfriend. I had left my husband of 24 years. He was a consultant and for that last decade of our marriage I only saw him on weekends - so I was also basically the single parent of severely affected autistic son. Randy just happened to find me on the internet and emailed me. And the rest, they say, is history.

I'm so sorry about your separation. But you never know what is in store for the future......
