Long story,
you ready,
here goes,
I was born a poor black man.....oops, wrong story
really, here goes,
I was born in Oklahoma, Dad was a baptist preacher, and we moved every time we heard "Gods call"(thats worst than an army brat). But most of my formative years were spent in and around Edwards,CO. We wound up back in Poteau,OK for the last half of high school(that sucked). So after that, I joined the army, did my time there, converted to catholic, and moved back to Colorado for a while. Then I got transfered on my job to of all places, Oklahoma. This time I met my wife, and have been stuck here since. It's not that bad of a place though. But the winters SUCK. As far as going back, I don't know. It's so expensive there, and so cheap here. Last year I finally convinced Kim to take a vaction out there. For the first 10 years or so of our marriage I tried to get her to go but she allways said "It's just trees and mountain, I've seen it all before." Then last summer we finally went camping in Durango, and she LOVED it. (I win) This year we will just be camping around here, and in December we will be going back to Colorado Springs for Christmas so my daughter can see what a 'white Christmas' is suppose to look like. Now my fingers are tired.
