I was stationed at Cheyenne Mountain in '90 - '91. Are you active duty??

Yup, active duty air force since '99. Colorado Springs will only be my 3rd duty station though, they have really cut the PCS budget. You have to do 4 years at a base before you are even in the "pool" to be considered for a move.

They used to give us that 4year or 3year on station or whatever, but if you really wanted to move, you could. Anyway, what do you do? I was enlisted and served in commications for 16 years and then became a First sergeant until I retired in 95.

Fellow Comm troop? Wow. I'm an enlisted Communicator, they have us separated into radio/satelite/computer and so on, and I'm in the computer area. Currently an email/active directory administrator. I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to be doing up at Pete Field though, probably an operations center type job doing security, customer service, breifing the big guy and what not.

Small world, I was a comcenter operator/COMSEC guy!!! I now have a MCSE, but do not do any computer work except repairs and data recovery now and that is just part time.

I was working on my MCSE right before my deployment. I should have continued while I was overseas but didn't and now need to brush up. With this moving coming and then starting more classes in the fall again I'm afraid that MCSE will have to wait once again. For military though it's not as important as my degree... at least for the time being. I sure appreciate your service!
