5 kids, ranging in age from 7 - 12... they know better than to play with outlets by now (I hope). The cobbled together electrical stuff is all really out of the way - inside one of the hinged benchtops... a spot Gurl has claimed for her own storage needs. Babies will not be fishing around in there. I don't expect any trouble (fingers crossed). Further, it's not my house... it's my girlfriend's house

... and not in a flood plain by any means.
Thanks for the compliments.
Black trim:

... and drawers:
Drawer fronts need to have edges rounded over, and will be painted green. Each drawer will hold 18+ beers, although Gurl is planning to use them for art supplies (drawers aren't refrigerated, after all).
And these are gratuitous pictures of blood I dripped on the floor of her garage while hanging cabinets Sunday morning:

First time I have ever used mechanical drawer slides, BTW, and I don't like them at all. Too much adjustability. I have one drawer working perfectly, after about an hour of tinkering, but the other keeps sticking shut. Next time I think I'll just make my own hardwood slides, as I have done in the past.
I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. All I have left to do is make those pesky armrests, and finish replacing baseboard/shoe mouldings.
