So, Isabelle decided not to wait for the 21st, huh? I guess she was anxious to see her grandma! :baby:

Congratulations, Becca! :wine party:

Congratulations, Becca. Your job title (grandmother) allows you to spoil the child rotten, all the while claiming total innocence. There's no jury in the world that will convict you. The parents, however, may feel otherwise. But that's their job. :applause: :applause:

Congratulations Becca!!!
:woohoo: How exciting!
Glad to hear that Momma and Baby are both doing well. Sounds like that little one's already got a mind of her own and is going to do things when she wants to.
 Maybe it was that full moon that got little miss Izzy rarin' to go. I'm not sure if you got a clear view of it around your parts but it looked amazing around here.

Thank you all!!!! We are so proud to be first-time granparents! She is just a little doll baby. So tiny. And yes we did notice the moon - it was a beautiful color. She's a moon baby. Born 4 days after my birthday and one day after her other grandpaw's birthday. Pretty cool!

Because she had her legs up over her head the entire time, they put a flexible harness on her legs to keep her hips in place for the next 6 weeks. The doctor told them that her hips could dislocate easily right now but this will take care of it. The flexi harness keeps her legs in the frog leg position. Doesn't bother her a bit. She looks like she's going skydiving.

And now I'd like to introduce my precious granddaughter:

She's just adorable.

Thank you!! Her lips are so pretty - full, rosey red lips like her mama. Dusty and Jamie both have brown eyes and so far, hers are blue. I told Jamie she would have big lips, dark hair and blue eyes....and she does. (my eyes are blue)

I am not a person who cries very easily at all, never have been but I have had tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat since Friday at 8:07 a.m. Every time I look at her pictures, the eyes tear up. I bought water-proof mascara...I think I'm going to need it. :)

Beautiful baby!!! Don't wear any tops with buttons. You'll have to keep picking them up when they pop off.

Congratulations Becca! Enjoy these times, they're priceless. And I know you will. A chance to re-live those little moments you miss when they're you're own and life is moving too fast for young parents just trying to keep up. Ya'll know what I mean 8)

No grandkids for us yet. But the idea seems to be gaining ground with one of our sons and his wife. Time will tell.

You must have been a child bride to have kids this age ;)
