Well finally this morning we got it fixed and I cant remember who it was here on the thread that it could be the censor...

And the censor it was...   The Catalytic Converter is fine we were told.. the censor itself had damage on the wiring there ...It was a 60 Euro fix.. but its back to the reinspection early morning...

The readings now are they way they are supposed to be.. the mechanic said the reading are better than what are allowed.. so we are happy to get  back to you on this... Whew we thought the bill was going to be in the Hundreds of Euros... and Surprise it was 60 instead.. Ok thats a lot too but it could have been more...

They may not even need to see the car in the morning since I have another emmision sheet that was given ...

Thanks Again for all your replies and advice everyone.

I,ll post again after I get back from the inspection... ;)

Heikki (I apologize for misspelling your name in earlier posts) I've had a bad O2 sensor for about 5 years ($160) and a bad brake sensor for about 2 years ($125) and I'm very glad we no longer have inspections in Florida (they ended the practice 25-30 years ago). My pickup just hit 10 years old in March and has 194,000 miles and would fail anything more complicated than handing the inspector money (which used to work when I lived in Virginia in the 70's) :worship: Good Luck

1st your not the only one that mispelled my name...   It dont bother me at all..

Here them inspections are really a pain in the buttocks... plus we pay a tax yearly on the vehicle also.. and if the police stop you and find you havent paid it,,, bang there goes your license plates till they are paid...

I,ll let you know in the morning which is already...ok in about 4 hours from now when they open... to see how it went.. I think were ok now.
All things possible have been done to it for this time around..

Best regards

And with older cars they might even punch few holes on the bottom of the car and still take your money and tell you to come again.

Hi Grani

I hinted to the Mrs. we needed a new car... before the next inspection..
Ours has come up with surprise fix its quite often...

B  ut what I really would like is a Model A to go with the Tear... But its not a necessity as a new or even 2nd hand lowmileage car..

The only thing wife wont go for the size of it due to our family being a lil big for that Mini...

I know here in Finland there is a Mini Club or few all over ..but non with teardrops being pulled with them ... 8) 8)

Here is 1
