Yahoo photos will be shutting down

Since many people here use Yahoo Photos this info may be useful to them

It will be interesting to see how this plays out at Yahoo.

I have been a Flickr pro user for a while now, and I LOVE it!! It is really easy to use and manage photos on, and the yearly price for the pro account is pretty darned reasonable. Since Yahoo bought Flickr, I did have to change over my log-in, etc..., but that wasn't too bad overall. It is good that they are giving folks on Yahoo photos an opportunity to switch over to Flickr.

I use Yahoo photos. It will come to an end in September.

What is the consensus on which photo site is best to replace it?

I have yahoo Photo and Photobucket.
Photobucket is one the options they offer but four attempts later and for some reason they are unable to transfer my pictures.
I tried their single photo method too. Maybe it was too late or something but I could not make that work either.
All I need is another photo site to worry about.

I was thinking I might go with Flicker for the sole reason that they are (owned?) or affiliated in some way with Yahoo. That closeness may make the transition simpler.

Flicker may suck, though, in comparison with the other choices. I don't know.
