I'm simply crushed by this news:

VROOM VROOM!!!

Maybe if he decided to make a right turn as opposed to all of those boring left turns that they all do, he might have won.
Here we go again!

I'm beginning to wonder if Gibbs is just going through the motions this year, placing their real focus on making the switch next year...

Gage,
I didn't know that you were a Newman fan... must be an engineer thing.

Ira,
I figured that you only drank Bud to show your support for Little E... What other reason would make anybody wanna drink Bud?
So are you gonna go with Casey Kane next year or switch to AMP and give up the Bud? :R

No, not really. It's just that he's been having such a hard time doing anything the last few years that it was good to see him up there. I'd just bet you, if it wasn't for his money, Penske would have dumped him long ago. As far as Nextel is concerned, Carl Edwards is my man. Been that way ever sense I saw him drive trucks. Then there is Ron Hornaday. I've been a fan of his for some 30 years. Ever sense he broke onto the scene at Saugus Speedway.

Did you know that Kevin Harvick use to drive for Ron Hornaday?

Well that's good, 'cause I don't like Newman.

I've been a Hornaday fan since his Southwest Tour days...
(You know that... He's from Palmdale to boot)
I'd sure like to see him make it full time in Cup...
He sure looks a lot better since Earnhardt had him get his teeth fixed...
No I didn't know Harvick used to drive for him...
Did he start out building chassis' for Hornaday???...
Are Hornaday chassis' still being made?...

BTW- Could you imagine Ira being jacked up on AMP all the time?

I used to race slot cars against him. He still owns a couple of houses here in Palmdale. He sold his business (down in Newhall) shortly after he moved back to Earnhardt country. Harvick drove his South/West car for about two years. I think the relationship they have now was at first a kind of 'returning the favor'. I don't think you'll ever see him back in a cup car because of all the young guns that are trying to get rides now days.
