My son is very protective of his seven year old daughter. But he finally let me take her out for the day and Sarah said she had a great time. We first went to a movie she choose and then went to Living Treasure animal zoo. Donegal, Pa. After which we were suppose to go to the old abandoned turnpike (Breezewood, Pa.) to travel through the dark 1.3 mile long tunnel. Instead we stopped at Koosier SP and let her cool her feet in the lake. (No bathing suit but with her getting friendly with some other girls soon found her ALL wet.) (Called her dad and he said wait! Sarah had no bathing suit how did she go swimming? Impulse decision! But she had a great time. Then went off to see a private fish hatchery that she said that most likely she would never have gotten to see with her dad. Scared her half to death when the fish jumped up out of the water after the food she got to throw into the fish pool.
I think she is opposite her parents who like city attractions and instead she does like the country. I think however that before she goes camping overnight that that may take a year. I love her laugh and wide eyes when she see's strange things and sites.
