Anyone use Webshots?

Postby rebapuck » Fri Feb 15, 2013 12:30 pm

All my photos were on Webshots. I liked the site. Found it easy to use. Then it suddenly shut down and my pictures were gone. Now they have shown up in Smile, (by Webshots). So I now know where my photos are, I just can't figure out how to get to them. There does not seem to be anything to click on.

Anyone else?

I saw "shots" and thought of something completely different.

I would say your first step is to follow the help link and read the information there: http://help.getsmileapp.com/ . Barring that, send them an email. I have some stuff on Photobucket, but nothing I am concerned with losing. Personal stuff is on a local external hard drive with backups burned on DVD disks.

I think I figured out a way. I right-click on a picture and save to "My Pictures". It's small, but better than losing them.

The info WagonDude led me to says Webshots notified me of a deadline to move the photos. NOT!!

I don't trust anyone but myself to backup my valuable memories. While I have a lot of pictures on the "cloud" for easy access, I have multiple copies, including two external hard drives, and have copies on two computers.
