Any HAM's out there? Radio that is....

Postby sunny16 » Fri Nov 18, 2005 11:50 am

Just wondering if there are any amatuer radio operators out there and if they are on the radio. I would be interested in talking to you and see what information you have run into in building a/your teardrop. These forums are great but sometimes it helps to talk to the person instead of email or text. Just name a time and a frequency and we can meet. I look forward to hearing from anyone.

S16, yes indeed there are several "hams" that are members of this board...I'm sure you will be contacted by some before long.....

I'm glad to know there are a few out there. And nice pic with the Buddypole. I was wondering what to use if I went out with an HF rig. Not much room in a teardrop for a large antenna aray!!

That's pretty neat looking. Any problems with that in a campground? Anyone complain? Just curious.....

No, haven't encountered any trouble yet... though we don't often camp in campgrounds anyway.
