The battery to my Pleasant Valley teardrop is mounted on the tongue in a black, plastic box. I noticed today when I was getting ready to connect a battery charger to the battery, that there was water in the box. I figure this is rain water since I have to store the tear outside and the cover I've been using got blown off during a recent storm. I removed the battery from the plastic box and have it charging sitting on a bench right now.
But, is it safe to have water around the battery like that? I may drill some holes in the bottom of the plastic box to let any future water out.
