HF Trailer box size

Postby Newman39Fan » Fri Feb 12, 2010 5:38 pm

Since they are on sale this weekend I am thinking of buying my trailer tomorrow. However I don't have access to a truck this weekend. Can anyone tell me the size of the boxes this trailer comes in? I have a Dodge Avenger, the back seats fold down so I am hoping I have enough room!

Thanks

I remember bringing home a hf 1175 trailer a few year ago. It came in a couple boxes, plus the wheels... I threw it all in the back of the car... Can't remember if it was the Sable, the Saturn, or the Focus Wagon... But it fit easily...

I was just wondering this same thing. So, I would be able to toss one into the wife's Outback wagon....good to know.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

If your back seats fold down, you shouldn't have a problem.

The boxes are heavy though, there's a trailer in there.

I put the long box on the roof of my CR-V (with some difficulty). It would have easily fit in the back with the seat down though. I remember it being about 6' long.

I just picked up my trailer kit this morning :D

I have a Subaru Legacy sedan, rear seats dont fold down. The two boxes fit far enough in the trunk that I just had to tie the trunk lid down. They were hanging out about 1 1/2 feet.

You'll be fine!

Yep, it fit no problem. I had to put the back seats down, but there was plenty of room. And yes - They are HEAVY boxes!!

I too bought one today. It fit it in the back of the RAV4 with one seat down with no problems!

VERY HEAVY!
I bought one about 9-10 years ago. Drove my TJ Wrangler down to hook up and drive away. :o What do you mean "assembly required"?

Found out it came in two very heavy boxes. I had them load them into the back seat of my TJ (top off). I had just been rear-ended about 2 days prior and couldn't lift anything. Drove it home and just kind of pulled and dropped them out of my TJ into the driveway and proceeded to put it together.

If it will fit in a TJ, then it should fit in most anything. :D
