New guy here from Idaho, originally Colorado. I own a 2006 Nissan Xterra that's been modified a bit for mild wheeling, not the best tow vehicle but its a great camping vehicle. Currently tent camping is going to the way side due to my wife's health but we/she still loves the outdoors. This is where the teardrop plan enters. I am looking to build an offroad orientated teardrop as I like to go where there's no one around, hence the move to Idaho. Hope to keep the same tire size as my Xterra and wheels for that matching look, but have some initial concerns over galley height and layout.
Glad this forum is around, just soaking up knowledge and getting ideas. Hope to start a build later this year and get it on the road in 2016.
