Hi everybody, stumbled across the site and I've been reading thru the countless posts and builds...all quite different and amazing. I've just finished my slipform stone house project last year...so its time to try something else a little out of the norm...which is why I'm here I guess.

I picked up a large pop-up camper, 7x13...and I'm going to tear the pop-up off the frame and do a teardrop build. I just want an open little trailer than i can throw down a couple of air matresses, or make a couple of bunks, so the wife and I and the 3 kids can sleep inside instead of in a tent...I like to go to the adirondacks, but have always worried about sleeping with the bears...even more now that the kids are little.
