Hello from monterey

Hi all I've been hanging around here for about a year now. Looking and reading reading and looking. At first I was planing on a tear but my wife is 6ft and we have two young daughters so started looking at the TTTs instead. Every build has great things about it and info to be learned. I am now going to be building a standy. We like the 1960-66 serro scotty's. I'm a big fan of the scenic2 by John - very nice. so something along those lines with a drop and maybe? a cupola as on the vardos. I have built everything from
furniture to bridges but never on a trailer and no welding so this should be fun. Now that I have a plan I'm getting started. I was given a free 5x11 trailer by a client so I will be changing it to 16ft long first.
