Welcome, check out the gathering in Chehalis in mid-August. Tents are fine assuming the build isn't done, but it's a good chance to meet some folks and see a variety of trailers. There were over 40 last year. You can find out more through the destinations link in General Discussion.

I camp all over the state. I have always liked the look and apeal of teardrops. A big RV is hardly camping in my opinion. A teardrop is still somewhat roughing it.

I want something easy and comfy to travel in with my wife. My buddy started talking about building one and she got so excited about it I just had to start building one.

The final thing and the biggest issue that brought me to teardrops is my trouble sleeping when I am camping. Becuase of the light through tents and the beds being uncomfy I can hardly sleep. By the end of a trip I can be a real grouch because of this. I am going to make my teardrop as comfy and dark as possible so I can get a good nights sleep!!!!

Welcome Melvin,
Welcome to the madness and obsession of Tear drop campers and camping.

Lots of good folks and information in here. Just ask and you will get more information then you can handle...all of it good.
