Howdy everyone! I've been playing with small trailers off and on for only a short while. I just received a call and was informed about this site. It's a very nice site. Very informative.
I get enough exercise from pushing my luck.

Welcome to the forum!

You'll find a wealth of information on the forum. A good starting point is the many builds captured in the Hall of Fame and the information available in Sdtripper2's index both found in the links above. I found the Generic Benroy Plans above to be very helpful and gives a good overview of the process of building a teardrop. Even if you don't build a Benroy the methods and information in this set of plans will be applicable to building any style tear or tiny travel trailer.

Hope you are able to get building soon and you enjoy your build.

Welcome to the forum. Folks interested in our life style are always welcome. Now all you have to do is tell us if you are planning on building, buying, restoring or stealing a teardrop or a tiny travel trailer. NC is a beautiful area, some years ago, we really enjoyed your lighthouses while touring in our RV.

Fill us in on your dreams and desires and we will do all we can to help answer any of your questions. Note, if you plan to build or buy a place on the outer banks, it would be well to design or obtain your house, that is made of concrete and raised 40 feet above sea level.

My sister and brother in law live in greensboro NC, the have a coleman popup, larger model, with shower, roof air and furnace........... The looking to upgrade to travel trailer or small Class C, or hybrid. I told her I was thinking about building a small camper, she and my brother in law, said they'ld wait and see how I progress, before making a decision.

We (my wife and I) usually make it south to NC a couple times a year, I'm hoping to have some sort of camper finished by early summer 2009.

Either a Class B astro van camper or towable camper or preferably both....

Hey long live teardrops,

Welcome to the forum. Got a first name we can call you by?

I see you found plenty of company already in the Carolinas. :)

So what small trailer or trailers do you have? Got any photos of them?

Mike...
