Hello Everyone,

I just started my build a few weeks ago. I am converting 6' x 12' pop-up camper to a teardropish trailer.

Thanks in advance, as I am sure I will need tons of advice.

There are a lot of nice folks in your area. I am sure they will chime in. I am in Michigan a lot the last few years. Have a son going to Michigan Un. in Ann Arbor. As a mater of fact, headed there this weekend to get him. He is done for the year. Only one more to go.
You will really enjoy this site! A lot of good folks and good info too.

Hi John,
I'm from Michigan but the other side of the state. I also built my trailer from a popup. Depending on the strength of the donor chassis, be careful with your weight. I wasn't and had tongue strength issues. I'm not trying to put you off from using it, I put a 2000# body on a frame designed for half that. Not a good plan. Have fun.

From middle of mchigan. We will be in Grand Haven for kite fest next month, first trip out with my build, from over winter. Stop at state park will be there.
