Hi from NJ

Joined up almost a year ago and have been looking for ideas since then. I picked up the HF 1800lb last May and now the weather is finally good enough to start putting together my camper. Hope to be campable by Memorial Day but we'll see. Thanks for all the build tips and everything else on this forum.I'll try to start an album so everyone can see what I'm up to. Wade
At least I'm enjoying the ride!

The TD is taking shape and looking good. Good photos helped me with my build. Thanks, Jeff

Hey Wade:

How's your progress going? I'm up in Sussex County, and take frequent weekend trips to Swartswood State Park. In fact there is a gathering August 19-21 this year.

What part of North Jersey do you hail from?

Hope to run into you this year!

Jeff:

I work a couple miles down the road from you in Paterson. I just googled Camp Taylor, it has pretty reasonable rates for a private campground, and looks like a nice place. I may have to try it out this year.

The last few times I was at CampTaylor it was mid-week in July and August and the place was empty. I think I was the only one in the one side of the camp. The Lakota Wolf Preserve is on the property and you can hear the wolves howling in the morning and evening. Of course the wolves are in pens, but the bears aren't, I had one young bear walk right onto my site while I was reading one afternoon.
At least I'm enjoying the ride!
