I purchased a gently used 4x8 HF red trailer from a 15 year-old kid in the landscape business. (I didn't ask him how he towed the trailer, since he's not old enough to drive in Alabama!) My first task is to remove the wooden railings and plywood floor that the boy installed using little skill and 17 different fasteners of all sizes. Luckily I have an assortment of wrenches, etc. and have been able to make some progress. I see this is going to be a time consuming adventure!

Regarding the trailer... I plan to replace the tongue with one that is longer, which will hopefully help the backing-up issue.

I have set up my gallery under the name of Yesdog and have pics posted of the trailer there. I also need to learn to post photos here! I'm sure there is a tutorial on the site, which I'll find and do my best to follow the directions. (Not my strong suit.)
I have a rough sketch of the camper I intend to build and I'll scan the drawings and post later.
Like Minnie Pearl would say, "I'm just so proud to be here!"
