All work done by myself and the engine built from the ground up.
Anyway, I was at a weekend car show last weekend and slept in a tent. On the Sunday morning, I swore that was the last time I would sleep in a tent. Looking around the camping field, I saw a small teardrop camper and decided that it was the way to go. On talking to the owner, I found it was made by a German company and was way outside my budget.
Back at home that evening I discovered the self build versions which are not too common in the UK. Once my car is complete (another few weeks should see it done), I will have time and space to start my build.
Next year, I will be attending a lot of car shows with the car, so it seems I will make good use of the teardrop, plus weekends away with the wife .
As they seem quite popular in the US, I may actually see a few when I come over in September
