Building my bed, how do you guys fasten this to the wall?

I would go with two good short ratchet straps that would stay on the wall and hook midway down on the bottom of the bed. Fast easy and low cost.
Just a thought. How about a fold down counter(galley)on the bottom of the bed with the galley supply between the bed supports.

I was thinking ratchet straps as well.

How much weight do you plan on having on that bed? I think it would be plenty with about half of those cross-braces, and a lot lighter to lift when stowing.

I tend to "overbuild" but you are probably right about the cross braces. So how should I go about fastening the straps to the wall?

Mount a small D ring to the wall studs.

I underestimated the thickness of my walls, just screwed the small d rings in and done!
