Aw shucks, Larry... :shhh:

Wrapped up construction on the bed/closet/shelf unit:

Adding face trim pieces made a huge difference!
Still have to add some of these to that black wall unit, too.

The unit is basically finished, except for paint, which will take
awhile, at one coat per day for 3 days, barring rain of course.

I thought retired muscians were all deaf!
Maybe that's why you need such powerful speakers! :D

Coming along nicely. Can't wait to see it with a mattress and sheets in it.

Excuse me? Whadja say? Speak up!

Thanx! Me too! Right now, I'm trying to find other things I can do in between paint jobs, without messin'
up the paint. This would be a great time to install the tongue box, but unfortunately, I don't have it yet.

Speaking of 12-volt wiring, I'm running wires to the hitch, so I can plug in & charge
from my truck as well. I was gonna put in a switch, so I can switch back & forth between
the truck & the battery tender, depending on the situation, but is a switch even necessary?

Will it hurt the battery tender if it's still hooked up while charging from my truck?
I'm thinking no.

No it wont hurt for the battery tender to be connected to both the trucks battery and the trailers battery. Also you might not need a switch for another reason. If your truck was wired from the factory for your plug most of the time when the key is off the charge wire isnt' connected to the trailer.. Even if it wasn't factory wired you can easily do the same thing by using a relay triggered by a wire from your ignition. That why when your parked you trailer isn't pulling of your trucks Battery.

much better on the battery

My truck has a relay that is turned off when the truck's key is off.

Ok, that's wot I figured, but just wanted to be sure, thanx! :)

My truck doesn't have the factory wire for it, so I'm running my own,
with a 20 amp breaker on the hot lead, right at the truck battery,
& another on the trailer battery itself.

Not gonna add the relay, as I'll be unplugging the trailer every
time I'm parked, even if the truck & trailer are still coupled.

Like the walls, a coat of primer & 2 coats of paint, & she's FINALLY
halfway presentable. I can finally stop shuffling my little fridge
around too, now that it's nestled in it's new home!

Can't mount my reading light IN the wall, like it's supposed to be, cuz
unfortunately, my intended location lines up perfectly with the shelf
inside the closet, so I made a little box, so I can surface mount it.

Trying to decide on exact placement of sub:

Think I'll scoot it forward, against the aisle-side bed leg,
& screw a little board down behind it, to leave me at least a
small access tunnel behind it & the little plastic drawer units.

Forgot to take up my masking tape....

VERY NICE!

Looks like it's almost ready to hit the road.

And the battery will never move now.

Thanx, Curtis! Still have a little way to go, but with most of the big
stuff now finished, meeting my deadline of early June is in the bag! :D
Yeah, hopefully that battery will stay in place, & thanx again for stressing the importance of this safety issue! :)

Crimped on some spade terminals, hooked up, & mounted the sub:

In such a small camper, this may seem like a fairly sizeable chunk o' real
estate to sacrifice for this, but to me, it's well worth it. Soon, I'll be ROCKIN!

I can understand it!

When I bought my car, it wasn't two days old and I ripped out all the panels to replace the 4 factory speakers, and of course built a sub box for the back with amp. Only 10" subs and 400 watt amp, but I spend 2 1/2 hours a day commuting to work, and I enjoy my music!

Now when it comes to camping, I tend not to listen to music much, but I can certainly appreciate your deisre.
