On the insulation issue. I had found some synthetic wool door insulation tape that I used on all the uprights (U-shaped, aluminum studs) prior to insulating and paneling with birch ply. That isolated (somewhat) the condensation problem where there was no foam insulation. Only the rivets now get condensation. They're aluminum into aluminum so there's no rust. In lieu of hard-to-find, synthetic wool weather stripping, I'd use "camper tape." (That's the stuff that you put on the bed rails of a pickup truck prior to mounting a canopy.) May two layers.
