7x12 is going to pull a lot different than a 6x12 though, especially behind a minivan. Make sure whatever you get your vehicle is equipped to haul your final product. I went with an upgraded 5000# axle because I know the weight of the trailer dry is going to be close to 3000, which is too close for me. It's all about what you plan to do with it and how comfortable you are towing the trailer. Good luck in whatever you decide to do, this website will surely help you determine your want list. The guys on here are more than willing to help you with ideas.

Couple more questions. Looking at the LOOK trailers. All 6x12. They''re a little different from each other.
1) is an RV door worth paying extra for compared to a cargo door? Pros and cons?
2) Is a factory roof vent worth paying for? Or will I end up upgrading the vent anyway so might as well put a vent in after purchase?
3) Most of the Looks have a smooth thin looking plywood on walls and ceiling. It's attractive and looks like veneer almost. But one of the Looks has what looks like OSB particle board on the walls and ceiling -- never a big lover of particle board. Is one preferred over the other? I plan to insulate it. For sure that veneer is better looking.

If you're talking about an "outside" door and a screen door inside of it, I'd say YES. I wish that both of my trailers had come with a door set up similar to a travel trailer (door with window and a screen door).

I'd say yes. Wouldn't be fun to add later if you decided that you wanted one. They have a frame work welded into the frame. It's not just a hole through the roof with the vent in it.

One of my trailers came with plywood and the other came with that other stuff (whatever it is). I prefer plywood... No reason, but I prefer plywood.

I think by RV door they mean openable from both sides. and no clamp assembly to squeeze door shut. pic.

This is the CTC that got me interested. And it still is my favorite because of the sheer simplicity. Gotta love da Joysee accent.
btw, are cargo ramp doors openable from the INSIDE provided the exterior clamping hardware is not engaged?

Update: haven't done much. Varnished the plywood floor and ramp a few times. Bubbles everywhere. Got a marine 12v and box. Today got really ambitious and put a thru hull fitting in so I can run a power cord through to the inside of the CT. This of course meant I popped the cherry and actually cut a 5" hole in the skin. Heaven forbid! I used aluminum snips with the angled noses. It's like cutting through butter. Used a electric jig saw to cut the plywood panel. I'm worse than I remembered at carpentry, but nothing a bunch of silicon and bondo can't fill in right guys!
