Since I will most likely never camp in the western and southwester regions where the temperature can change so much between day and night, I will probably insulate to what ever the air spaces allowed in the sides and ceilings. I will spend the time and energy to learn more about the condensation issue so as not to allow mold or rot to exist in my CT. My camping when my wife is with me will probably be in the later spring to late summer in the East and South. The other times in cold weather will be me or a fellow fisherman or hunter during the colder weather. So for the cold weather insulation will be very much appreciated. But the maximum amount I "could" get if I accepted lesser interior dimensions is not that important to me. I am almost 70 now and still camp in makeshift camps like this picture shows:
This pic shows the 10 x 20 Carport we set up.

This pic is of an 8 x 8 Canopy setup in the Carpot with plastic sheet and tarp draped over it. So in effect, I had a tent within a tent. It held the heat from a Mr. Buddy and a heater on top of a 20 gal. propane tank pretty well while running. At night there was no heat provided.

I was very cosy in it and quite warm at night in 25 degree temps. Sponge baths were also not that bad (with the heaters on of course).
So you can see my needs will be less then the others.
Now I have until the end of this month to order my trailer before a price increase is in effective. I am down to a Car Mate 6 x12 Advantage and or a Car Mate Custom Cargo, 6 x 14, both Single Axles. I am struggling with the price differences now and the space lost going to the V-Nose Advantage unit.
So as not to take over this tread, in a few days I will post a new thread dedicated to this build and there I will be showing my ideas about condensation and my solutions, looking for comments and ideas.
