Just where was this hunt taking place? The description of "Saddle hills south of Woking" doesn't tell me anything. :?

I agree, I really like mine.
Prety much worthless for distance shooting.
But up close its nasty.
And it weighs a ton so when its empty you can throw it at them too :o

This took place in Alberta Canada .And that's why it is so big . Now these guys were not hunting for bear the bear was hunting them out . they had no choice but to save themselves. Oh ya some one just went hunting for congresswoman Gabrielle Gifford was just shot in the head here in Tucson down the street.I sure she will not make it .

Dog, I am impressed! :applause:

I'm not anti gun, I'm pro smart.

I own guns, I just don't feel the need to carry one to the grocery store. I did carry a 357 magnum when I went wilderness camping with a backpack and tent. That was a reasonable thing to do, IMO. But, Kroger ain't the wilderness, so I take big leap of faith that I can buy groceries without packing heat.

I got in trouble a few years ago in a thread about guns at a gathering, and the message that got lost in that brouhaha was this: before you pop the top on an alcoholic beverage, you need to lock your firearms up. Guns and booze don't mix.

Not that we drink at gatherings.

Yeah, but what's the odds he could be an unruly obnoxious drunk?
