Postby deceiver » Tue May 18, 2010 6:11 pm

Teardrop almost all renovated and my Dutch oven came in today. It's a Lodge one 12". Haven't used it yet but I'm excited.

The second swig of Kool-Aid: first the teardrop, then the Dutch Ovens....

It's inevitably a plural pursuit.

I don't know if you are aware but liners are a great aid
in cleanup of sticky gooey good stuff. They are available
in aluminum and parchment.

I was cutting rolled sheet parchment for my baked yeast
bread and a fellow camper handed me a parchment
ones to try. It looked like a muffin cup liner on steroids.
I was in love these are great.

Just an F.Y.I. for those that didn't know

( Like me  )

"It's All About Eating Good In The Great Outdoors..."
Great first purchase, as most recipes out there are written for a 12"er.
Now go buy a Mair Lifter from Bob.

Those of you that use the liners, where is a good place to find them?
I have not had good luck. :)

I seen them in the camping dept at Wally World here in Fl. Looked like an oversize box of coffee filters.

I use parchment on a roll. Liners are 'way too expensive for my taste. So far, I only use liners on pizza and dump cake. Everything else gets cooked right in my ovens. They clean up just fine.
God Bless
