at last found the dutch oven - here in Estonia its not known
yes we have usual domestic cast iron oven pot´s and history with them
i can find cast iron or aluminium soup pot too but only with tripod and no lid on it and ....
not normal dutch oven - self standing and with cast iron lid and ....

welcome to site you will love them once you get it seasoned right and learn the temp to char coal if its 85* out the rule of thumb is for a 12'' oven 9 on bottom and 15 on top for 350* ring out on the edge of oven not in center. as for getting it seasoned you need to rub it down with crisco or a lard grease, heat it at 450*+ for about 1 hour then let it cool slow turn it up side down and do it again (might want to put a cookie sheet under it this time) then turn it back over and do it again keep doing it tell the oil want soak in. Don't wash it in soap use boiling water and a srub brush to clean and litely oil it before putting it away and before you use it next time heat it a little and wipe it out with paper towel and add oil if needed to stop from sticking. Good luck and enjoy it. Oh ya parchment paper is great to use for easy clean upend needs no oil.

Buy the cheapest briquettes you can find. There is no advantage to better quality briquettes unless you're grilling a steak or burgers over them.

That Weber charcoal is expensive! However, if that's what you can find, then go for it!

Or, like BobHenry, use embers from your fire!
