Dog Iron. Not waffle dog iron.

Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

I'm just here to entertain you all!!

It was good. Ugly, but good. I think I'll avoid the bacon grease for awhile until the iron gets more seasoned.

Tomorrow I'll try real batter. Or maybe I'll go in and season it more..

I think crumbled bacon could be a good idea. Next week I'll try Jimmy Dean maple sausage and some kind of batter.

The badder the batter, the badder the batter blaster batter will be with bacon.

In plain English..the more I use it, the easier it will be to get the batter blaster bacon creation out of the waffle-less waffle dog iron!

Ok..so that wasn't quite 'plain' English...

I paid about $15. Been seasoning it all day..cooked with it and seasoned it more. I'll cook again in a few hours for breakfast...the thing is awesome. It's only drawback is the hinge irritates me...it gets out of alignment and won't close all the way...probably me just being stupid. I'm used to a full on hinge like on the toas-tites..where you can't take them apart.

Great recipes on the label, too..makes me think about what I can create...

I think we are on to something here... :applause: :applause:

If your haveing problems with sticking you might want to heat your iron up more. I let mine get real hot and can cook 2 or 3 sets without any sticking.

it's sticking on the edges...I think it's just where the crisco seasoning isn't as thick...once I pry it away from the edges they drop out fine...
