5042A Coleman picnic stove

Went to the swap meet today,,,,haven't been there since I bought the rubber chicken.....but today I found a coleman lantern,,,,200A I think. It's red and is in good shape..don't know the year but the fuel in it was pretty old...$10. Then I found a coleman single burner picnic stove,,which is pink for a buck. Still has two full LP gas canisters in it.....Anyone have any info on it such as when they were made????

If you flip the 200A over the date should be stamped on the bottom. The letter on the left and a year on the right. Example A=January, B=Febuary ect. They were made from the early 50's thru the late 60's. Waiting for parts for my 200A. The pink stove I think only uses the canisters. They are no longer available. Pics are also appreciated.

Thanks....I found the model number and 1978 on the piece between the tank and globe....there is a 6 or 9 stamped in the bottom. Dosen't build pressure when pumped so may be looking for info for seals...
can;t figure out how to insert pictures in post but put one in my album..

All my 200's have month number on the left and year on the right on the bottom of the tank. Pull the pump and see if the leather is dry on it...soak it in some oil....Welcome to the world of gas pressure toys! Doug

I looked closer and found a 9 some space then a 53......would that be sept 1953????

I have a two burner picnic stove which started production around 1967. I converted it to use regular propane.
