I might just have found something that none of you Coleman collectors have. What do you think?

I actually bought one of those "back in the day" for my father for some holiday (B'day, Father's Day, Christmas) I don't remember what one. It's been gone for a million years now. I also got him one of those coleman lantern keychains, also missing in action.

With 10 lanterns on display in my living room, I'm hoping my sons will start buying me memorabilia, but so far they haven't gotten the hint.

Darn, so much for being special :(
I wonder if I should ask Jeremy if he could make a sticker for it. It's gotta be easier to restore than a full size one; no moving parts, and it's already got the "fuel" on board :D

I've got one, too...mint in box, with the metal bale and everything. Sticker is there..the whole ball o' wax.

Mom got it for me a couple months ago..the box is hilarious...Magnum PI meets the Village People camping...dang, have styles changed!

Mom sold Avon back in the day and I remember people buying this one for their husbands...I always thought it was cool :)

I think it doubles as an ant killer.
Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Ask yourself these simple questions every time you are in doubt about any action.

I always wondered what that stuff smelled like. Coleman Fuel?

Theres an idea. An Avon bottle like a CF can.

Why are you guys smelling the water, anyway?? Geez..do you think you might actually USE the stuff?? Is anything liquid coming out of a lantern going to smell GOOD??

And what part of "Avon Products" don't you understand??? Everyone knows all that stuff stinks worse than...well, it just stinks.

Doug...I never noticed Lazybones smelling bad...but maybe our campouts are cleaner than yours? Or maybe it's the airing out the armpits while riding a scooter that help... :o

Just messing with you....it's what I do best.

Nobody stinks around here unless they spill the Avon stuff on themselves...then WATCH OUT!!
