I love seeing the flooring being used.

I found that hardwood flooring, the plywood stuff in particular, worked well in applications other than just flooring...

Very strong, light and cheap with the tongue and groove glued up. Not to mention ... pre-finished with foot traffic in mind.

You wont regret using the dark hand scrapted stuff, have it in mine, nice on the feet and the look is awesome.
Wouldlook real nice with a natural birch. Or light cork border. Oh and a tap just inside for the draught.
The in the gally, the dark foe boarder and light in the middle, oh, and another draught tap
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Good looking build you have going on there , I'm also from the Fraser Valley area, built mine two summers ago now and have put over ten thousands km on it and still love using it. You should get lots of use from yours aswell, Could you tell me more about the tearjerkers bc chapter?

I prefer to get away far into the bush, down a FSR, the east side of the Harrison lake is a beautiful area to go, also lots of quite places up Chilliwack lake road.

I'm going to be building another teardrop this spring and thinking of using aluminum for the skin, where did you find your source for aluminum?

Hey biziedizie check out

http://monroehinge.com/

Look for Plastic living hinge. Several people in the forum used this for their hatch hinge and one guy used
them for his door as well.

These are designed to be use as a hinge and UV rates. Where scrap vinyl I don’t think will hold up.

Great job of the tile work
