That extra piece should do the trick. Maybe you didn't need it, but that is a pretty big risk on a "maybe", and Norm is right, much easier to do something now than to have it nag at you and maybe wreck.

I got the frame painted yesterday. Self etching primer and to coats of black acrylic enamel. I hope to get the body set on the frame later this week. I have to epoxy the under side first. :)

It is starting to look like something. I got the body on the frame with some help from the wife. I am sure glad I marred a farm girl.
