Next month I go back to day shift so I should have more than just the weekends to work on it.

nice thinking very simplistic and the roof will hold it in place.

I ended up taking all of that part off and stated over on the front. It worked much better the second time around.

A trip to Hd today, got 5 sheets of 1" foam, gallon of tb2, some liquid nails, and some more wire. I had some trouble getting the foam on the roof my suv. The wind blew it off and all over the lot, I know somebody saw me and got a laugh out of it.

I scored some free paint today! 2 gallons of top coat grey, and a gallon of primer, all expired but still usable. I'm thinking this will be the final coat when I'm ready. It's been a while since I posted, I'm studying for my Staff Sergeant test in a couple of weeks. Wish me luck, hopefully second times a charm. :worship:

Beautiful outside so I pulled the trailer out to plan my next steps. Found out that my adhesive for my insulation melted some of my foam. It was fine with a test piece but after a month being sealed in it did some damage. No biggie! I'll use TB2 this time.

I installed the front bow made of 2x6s cut on the bandsaw, still needs to sanded flush with the plywood ceiling under it.

Thanks!
I have yet another score, guy from work has an old boat trailer that he started to strip some parts from and he's giving me the rest of it. Wheels, hubs (not sure if they will fit), fenders, lights and hardware; all for price of helping him scrap the rest of tue frame. I haven't really kept up with all of my expenses but I'm sure this is one of the more thrifty builds I have seen so far (if I'm allowed to say so myself). :R

Went camping last night here on base for my son's birthday. We gave him the option of camping or movies and he picked camping, pretty proud of that.

It's a perfect spot and just 15 minutes from the house, but no swimming in these waters.

I'm kinda jumping from spot to spot right now, after I got all of the roof insulation done I started putting the galley together.

Letting the kiddos sleep in the trailer in the garage, facing the opposite way so I can use the bunk to hold the tv for now.

Time for me to start ordering all my components to build the cabinets around them like you're doing. Keep up the great work!
