Yes it is. I think the clear coat look is stunning. Always my first choice. My baltic birch was so bland, no character to it, no reason to clear it. But yours... Wow. Just... Wow. You are an artist. Very nicely done.

No, I felt it took up a lot of space in the galley. My battery is going under the camper leaving the entire space as storage.

Applied what should be the last coat of epoxy to the insides of the doors and hatch. Also the final coats to the inside of the transom and the floor.
I started working on the trailer, cutting the side rails to the proper length to fit the camper shell.

What are your thoughts on the NT aluminum trailer?

Easy to assemble and modify because of the frame material. A good value. I do recommend a powered ratchet of some sort to assemble. A ton of hardware to wrench. The only issue i found was a hub dust cover that doesn't fit tightly. I have yet to complain to Northern Tool.

Cut some holes for vents and fabricated a battery mount from left over trailer aluminum. I still have enough material to make another one if I decide to double the capacity.

Interesting (and very efficient) battery mount, if I interpret correctly. The salient points of my understanding are:
- battery carried on beefy aluminum angles
- allthread cross-ties clamp the angles against the battery
- allthread hangers clamp the battery against the underside of the trailer floor
- the allthread hangers attach to T-nuts (?) installed on the floor from inside the trailer
- the battery is positioned in the center of the trailer laterally, and just behind the axle
- the battery is oriented on it's nominal "side", such that the terminals are on the vertical battery face towards the back of the trailer, close to the floor
- No extra material is used for the battery mount beyond the angles, the allthread, the T-Nuts (or alternate), and the battery itself.

Is this a correct interpretation? What size allthread? Maybe #10 for the cross-ties and 1/4" for the hangers?

Pretty much correct. The only thing incorrect is I used 3/8 x 8 inch carriage bolts through the floor. The allthread clamping the brackets together is 3/16 or #10.
