Looking good Gary...

And you can make the width whatever you want... Take it right out to the edge of the tires if you like.... I think you said that was 77". :applause:

I finally got enough done to show some progress. Here's the rear half of the floor.

Image

Sure looks like that's a long ways back there.

Now I have to weld the mounts on the frame to support the floor and do the front half.

Yep 31" wide and 63" long with 4" drop. Hope it gives me enough head room to stand in the front end of the galley if not I'll have slouch a bit. That's also why I'm planning some angles for support under it.

Well I said this would be a slow build and one reason was we'd planed to go to 4 gatherings in 7 weeks. that said I got a little done last week before heading to Beaver's Bend.

got the support angles for the front floor in.

Than started cutting the floor spares for the front floor

Of course the work isn't done till the inspector ok's it.

I also got some angle support under the back floor but didn't get a pic of it yet.

That's Wendal the Weinerdog. When he started trying to get up on the frame I figured he fall off but he walks around like he's part cat.

We finally had a weekend without camping or family things so I got some noticeable progress on the trailer.

Image

Here is the frame for the front floor.

Image

There is angle welded in the frame under the floor supports where the bed frame will be ancohored.

Image

This is the floor with the bottom luan glued on and the insulation glued in. Now when the glue is dry I'll glue the top luan for the floor on. that's the progress so far. Hope to get a little more done this week but we're camping next week. Build time can't interfere with camping.

Another update on progress. got the front half of the floor done enough to put it together and see what it looks like.

Image

Now I have to take it back apart to put that black goo on the bottom.

We finally reach a mile stone today on the trailer

Image

That's right the dreaded black goo day. If it dries tonight I can flip the back floor for the last time, weld on 4 more step mounts and put the floor together for the last time. :D
