Well folks - not much to mention this week. I went to get some supplies this week - picked up the windows, electrical, and aluminum flashing for the floor. Mostly doing some prep work. While I was there, Mrs Starleen found a router and router table and decided that it would be useful for the build (Who am I to argue with her, right?) I finally decided that a TSC 4X8 No Floor trailer is what I'm going to use. I have used the TSC for all of my build so far and have had good success with them. Got the fabric ordered and should arrive shortly - if it turns out nice - I'll make a link available so anyone on the forum can purchase some yardage.

Picked up some wood for the floor and sub-frame today - got all the pre -cuts made today - nothing really to take pictures of. Most of my time this week is spent prepping the Ladybug for it's new owners who are coming this weekend to pick her up = I'll sure miss her :lady:

Looky what came in the mail today!

I must say I’m impressed with the way the fabric turned out. The printing was exactly the way I submitted the image. I was going for a cartoonish rendering of Coleman lanterns and it turned out spectacular. Yeah – it’s a bit pricey at $18.00 yrd, but where else can you find such a design. The shipping was fast as well – it took fives days to print and ship and just a few days to arrive. The best thing is that this design in my account – so If I need more – I just place an order for what I need.

Hey Scott, the Green Lantern looks great! I remember you mentioning it on the sly at LCG.

I should thank Tom too for that link to the spoonflower site! That is really cool for people who have their own ideas!

You are really moving along, I am watching with eager eyes!

Got a chance to work on the subframe today – here it is all painted and ready to go

Installing it on the frame

Its kinda hard to see, but the subframe is wrapped on the outside with white aluminum trim
Now time to get the flooring ready to go on top of it.

First we painted the underside of the floor – it really doesn’t matter the color because aluminum flashing is going over it. I usually paint the underside to give one more layer of protection for the underside.

Floor flipped over and ready to go on the subframe – the two strips will be removed later

Next I need to drill the anchor bolts that will secure the floor and subframe to the trailer chassis
