Possibly more stoked that 5 teardrops won best club display at a VW show that had loads of dub clubs attending...3 of the tow vehicles weren't VW's

Here's a shot of the dis guarded gazebos going down as groundsheets....It made us so much more comfortable   We've never needed them before :o :o

DAVE !!!!!

Just seen this build thread.

LOVELY!

I really have to try the pyro art, and give burning something a go.

I need to speak to you about those canopies some time. Nicola saw it and loves them, anything to drag her back into the dark side.

Stunning build mate. and well done for club stand ans splitty.
Greetings from England.

Rian.

Hoping to get it all done in time.

Cheers Grizz , I've enjoyed the build every bit as much as the previous builds....More so even as the workshop has been great.  No more building in caravans for me

I've still got a few little bits to finish off on Mambo, but in true traileritis fasion....I could be picking up the next donor tomorrow

The canopy is a 4.5m Coleman event shelter....Usually available for around £130 .....Sides are extra as is a groundsheet. We have a couple of sides but rarely use them. We jumped on a Amazon deal when they advertised them for £65 ...instead of £65 off RRP ...We bought 2 as did a few of our friends. They honored the deal but didn't repeat it

Many thanks Rod... It's sometimes good to have a deadline to work to ....

We had a great time in some of the worst teardropping weather we've ever experienced.... 8) 8)
I even had my photo in the local press... They've asked if they could do a feature.....

Insanity is alive and well and living in Malmesbury! You're a braver man than me staying around in mud like that Dave, so well done indeed.

Mambo is looking mighty fine too. 8)

Congrats on the Mambo and award, looks great behind the bus! It's one great looking trailer! Camping in the mud like that isn't always the best time, glad you were able to make the most of it and still be smiling. Keep up the trailer building. Doug

Thanks Doug....I'm really pleased you like both Mambo and the bus  Coming from a man that has inspired me to build 'nice trailers'...that means a lot

It turned out to be the best weekend of the year .....so far anyway   We had a year of rain last year and a lot of shows and trips had to be cancelled.... I'm hoping for a drier season this year, but at the moment a lot of the country is covered in snow !!! Summer officially starts at the weekend....It can only get warmer than the zero temperatures we're enduring.

Hopefully we'll get chance to sort the lights out at the weekend :)
