thanks :) but i have to be, in 14 days from now, it has to be on the road and is going to be towed to the Coromandel for a few days... so probably even a touch behind really.

Made the inside cabinets last night :)

so there are some little cubby holes down the bottom/sides for my phone etc, a car radio with DVD player, and one of them 12V/USB things for power :)

need to trim the doors a touch as they dont close as they are too long, but i can do that some other time

Going well Ned, :thumbsup: but, get as much of the interior stuff finished before you put the roof on. :thinking: It can be rather awkward once it is closed in (and not being rude), for a big guy like you.

forgot to take recent photo's but here ist he ceiling test fitted on Saturday

put a door on while i waited for some glue to dry for the ceiling

and first section of the ceiling fitted!

and i mounted some inside lights :D

the whole ceiling is mounted, some of the insulating foam has gone in as well, and hung the doors properly with recessed T-nuts and some M5 dome bolts.

PROGRESS IS BEING MADE AND IT'S COOL!

You are going to be camping in no time!
Point to note, if you are going to be running wires through the Polly insulation, it pays to conduit it. If you doing any 230v check with the power board caravan inspector, as I think it is required for that. The Polly can react if in contact with the wire insulation.
As for the costs, you should take your first figure, add quite a bit more, then double it. And you will still be short :cry:

Cheers for that. No mains in my camper, just some lights, a car radio/dvd player and a 12V TV. Will carry a battery charger for when i am near mains to top it off, but am hoping to run solar panels in the near future so no need for mains at all really, but i will check whats up with the insulation and polystyrene! did not know that!

Had a quick read, and looks like putting down some polyester tape or something will do the job. Will likely not be an issue, but better safe than sorry right? cheers for the heads up!
