You've really set the bar up there pretty high Tom. You've got some serious teardrop building skills.
Great job and congratulations!!

 It's Alive...or at least it's (overly complex 12 vdc and 120 vac) electrical system is complete...and working!

LCG is almost here and all I had done on the electrical system is rough-in wiring and install a few fixtures. The last two weekends I've spent finishing the wiring.

This is what I started with:

This is the cramped quarters I was working in. (Now I know why Planovet put his distribution center on a slideout.) Not shown is the battery and box.

Here's a pic with everything buttoned up and the system being tested:

And a close-up of the upper galley:

Amost ready for LCG.

Thank you for looking,
Tom

That looks pretty sharp, Tom. Top notch build the whole way. You got something to be really proud of.

Looks great Tom!

The colors really work together and the red "mood" lights should work out real nice to find your way back to the trailer after dark without inviting all the bugs!

David,

Thank you for the compliments, but I have to say Mark is right about the lack of speed. I'm in month #35 on the build.

Mel and Larry,

Thank you too. I'm about 95-7% complete. For me, out of all aspects of the build, the electrical system has been the most complicated. It's been fun building, but I'm ready to go camping.

Sharon and Earl, I have to admit that the idea for the red lights came from Planovet (as have many other ideas I've incorporated.) I'm not sure what they are called, but they are high intensity LEDs. At night, they light up the galley pretty well. Of course, in the over do it department, I have 4 of these underneath the teardrop. They make a pretty good red halo beneath it.

 Gig'em,
Tom

You aggies make things way more complicated than they need to be. Get that thing done, and go camping.

And, don't spend the whole weekend at LCG talking about what isn't done. Have some Tonyritas and dodge a few water balloons.
