Thanks so much!

More updates:
Putting more panelling on the cabin walls

Glueing the aluminum to the roof. Using 3M 4200 Marine Adhesive just around the edges to let the aluminum flex when the temperature outside changes. No the aluminum is not painted pink. That's just the protective coating to prevent scratches.

Building the frame for the galley hatch.

Overlapping sheets of aluminum on the roof.
Image

Bending bead board panelling for the inside of the hatch.
Image

Bending and applying the aluminum trim for the inside of the galley hatch.
Image
Image
Image

Moisture proofing the inside sufaces on the hatch.
Image

Putting the outside plywood on the galley hatch.
Image

Diamond plate trim along the bottom
Image

Screw holes on the outside of the hatch sealed
Image

Diamond plate rock guard in place.
Image

I have a small dilemma. There is no spar behind the top edge of the rock guard, (ie nothing to screw into). What is the best way to attach a trim molding to the upper edge?

What colors did Denver sign supply keep in stock? Making a run there next week probably.

Looking good BTW.

If you've got nothing to screw into polyurethane adhesive?

Glueing the aluminum skin to the hatch.
Image

I had some spring back in the hatch after putting on the aluminum skin. Nothing a few screws won't fix. They'll be covered up by the edge trim later.

Checking the fit on the hatch.
Image

OOPS!! I cut the top of the galley hatch hinge too short, it doesn't overlap the edge molding on the galley wall. Good thing I saved the scrap piece. I cut the hing in half (on the hatch side) and put the scrap in the center. It will be sealed to the hatch with marine adhesive so it shouldn't leak.
Image
Image

In case the split hurricane hinge leaks, I came up with a mini gutter with a diversion hose to catch any drips and carry them outside the galley.
Image

The hatch is in place but there is some spring back. Looks like I'll need a little extra weather stripping and some draw tight latches.

Installing the vent.
Image

Aluminum trim going on.
Image
Image
(Nothing to screw into behind the skin, so I simply glued it on with 3M adhesive (4200) and 2 screws on the ends holding the caps down will keep it in place.)
Image

Pam loves to peel skin when I get a sunburn so she is in her glory doing this.

Good looking trailer, Tommy. I'm like Pam...I enjoy removing the plastic film from the aluminum. Its kinda like unwrapping a present. I really like the profile you've chosen. I think my next build will use that shape.
